Knight: Opinions on Warrior

As my setup, with binding on 6 and scrolls on the second page. I find in most battles, I use legcut, SD, scream, followed by a soul pot unless I'm taking heavy damage. I never change a skillbar once I get used to it because that's how you lose 1v1 at the most embarassing times in Knight.

Raptor is the best weapon for the warrior, period. I do use the 2h gigantic axe a lot too though because of the health bonus, resists, greater attack speed, and the fact that so many people use spear defense on Ares that the axe actually hits harder most of the time. Not to mention all of the mages on the human side.

Dual wield is useless, I've tested it thoroughly on bosses and in PK and it does not hit as fast as most people would have you believe. My raptor always did fine. It has also killed countless dual wielding warriors who believed their 'speed' would be able to 'overwhelm' me(Knight bronze).

Mirage sword is a very sneaky strategy, an alternative (for Ares at least) is the hellbreaker. I borrowed one from a friend back in August or so and was hitting buffed people higher than either the gig ax or raptor, because NO ONE wore club defense. (And it was only +7)

I used Iron Neck Skele Belt Dual WE Dual RoC, and the only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of AP. However, my resists, defense, and health sure made up for it. I still think I could've hit harder though. (I never did get a raptor +8 for myself, in tests when I borrwed one it only raised my overall AP by roughly 80 or so.)

Now to the armor thing. For the longest time, I advocated chitin over shell, since most people who see a chitin warrior will think 'Noob!' and run to try to 1v1 you. (I made about 15k of my total NP because of that. ) However, shell does give enough of a defensive boost for it to really be essential to be competitive at the highest levels(Knight gold, Knight powerleveling), as long as it is at least 1 grade higher than your chitin.

Recently, I made 2 +8 chitin pieces by throwing my old chitin set onto the anvil. (Carsomyr, if you are still around, those pads are the ones you sold SoulSlayer to give to me back in Dec '04.) The pads and the boots went to +8, and collectively they have 3 less defense but 6 more strength than my +7 shell pieces. However, I doubt that the difference is really worth going for unless you happen to have access to a full +8 chitin set (in which case the defensive loss might be too great).

Defense armors are so necessary it isn't funny. I used to think full shell warriors didn't need them. That's how I lost 1v1 to NYchris, I didn't put on my dagger helm. (For round 2, I did, and we fought until he ran out of pots and got intimate with the business end of my raptor. ) I carry spear, axe, sword, dagger, and club defense. How much of each depends on a number of factors. I tend to only really use it when I'm debuffed though, which is probably a weakness in my strategy that I should learn to address.

Knight: Warrior Combo guide

As to comboing: Comboing is almost universally accepted as a part of the Knight, and even the developers condone it, so therefore, it is legal according to the majority of the community. Above all, it is the community that decides what is and isn't cheating, within reason.

Potting: It isn't really something that can be taught.

In PK:

Pot red if you are under attack serious enough to risk death in the next few seconds. (unless you're cocky enough to think you can take your target down with you, in which case, pot blue and mail me the result )

Pot blue if you are under half mana and not in danger of dying. Keep your mana as full as possible, I can't count the number of times a target escaped because they had one hit left and I had no mana. If your priest is good and not shouting that hes lagging over vent/TS,(goldceo.com) keep potting blue to finish off your targets ASAP, but throw an hp pot in here and there if you must to make sure you do not enter redball range.

In boss hunting/XP:

Only pot blue if you have one or two SD's left, depending on your max mana.

Pot red if you are below half health (if in cz.) You may want to pot more often depending on how many of the opposing race is out and what boss you are fighting.

Note: Feel Boring with practise by yourself? Just buy the cheapest Knight gold, Knigth powerleveling and Knight bronze to save your time. Just have a try!^^

Knight Online Goblin Armor Guide

Nice meeting you here !

I'd like to introduce you something about the Goblin Armor in game Knight Online , wish you would like , now read it on !

 Goblin Armor

Goblin armor is the best-value armor in the entire game, because it is has solid defense (the equivalent of +5 armor in terms of the defense rating), boosts your stats and resistances, has the same stat requirements as +1 armor, is relatively inexpensive, and is lightweight. What is it? Goblin armor is armor constructed from goblin quest items. It takes 5 goblin quest items of the same type (e.g. goblin pauldron) to build a single goblin armor.

How to Build Goblin Armor

1. Buy or farm goblin quest items. You can farm them in the goblin village, which for El Morad (humans) is just north of Asga and for Karus (orc) is south of Bellua. Familiarize yourself with the different types of goblins: goblin bouncers > pookas > bugbears > kobolds. The tougher goblins have a higher drop rate for goblin quest items. You should be able to solo kobolds safely around level 25-30. Be careful because goblins move fast and have a long attack reach(strange as they are so short)

2. Once you have 5 items for a given piece, go to Proconsul in Moradon and pay him (30-100k, depending on the piece) to build you goblin armor. You will randomly get 1 one of 5 tiers of goblin armor.

Tiers of Goblin Armor

The tiers of goblin armor are the same as the tiers of armor that you see on the KO page on armors, with the exception that there is no goblin Tier 6. Remember that the better the tier of armor, the higher the stat requirement(s). All 5 tiers have the same bonuses but differ in terms of the defense rating. Please note that the probabilities of gettting the different tiers are based on the experience of 2 players (me and a friend). Your mileage may vary.

1. this is a "failed" build, unless you're paper ("paper" means you can only wear Tier 1 armor based on your stats)

2. this is a "normal" build

3. Proconsul will say you are "lucky" to get such a great item. This is uncommon. Out of ~100 builds of goblin armor, I've received 12 of these

4. Proconsul will say you are "very lucky" to get such a great item. Out of the ~100 builds of goblin armor, I've received only 1 of these. From the builds performed by me and a friend, the probability of getting one of these is roughly 1%

5. this is EXTREMELY rare. I've never received one. From the builds performed by me and a friend, the probability of getting one of these is less than 1%
One thing about goblin armor is that it can't be upgraded on the anvil. That's ok, save your money for other items.

Goblin Armor Bonuses

Each piece of goblin armor (e.g. helmet, pauldron, etc) gives the same hit point, mana/magic point, and resistance bonuses, regardless of class:

Helmet: +30 mana points, +15 resistance to fire

Pauldron: +50 hit points, +16/+16/+16 resistance to fire/glacier/lightning

Pads: +50 hit points, +16/+16/+16 resistance to fire/glacier/lightning

Gauntlets: +20 hit points, +20 mana points, +15 resistance to glacier

Boots: +20 hit points, +20 mana points, +15 resistance to lightning

Each piece also boosts a stat.

For rogues, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least:

Pauldron: +10 dex

Helmet: +8 dex

Boots: +7 dex

Pads: +10 health

Gauntlets: +7 health

The rogue goblin pads tend to be the 2nd most expensive, after the goblin pauldron, as some rogues like to use the goblin pads for PvP (player vs player).

For mages, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least for PvM (player vs monster):

Pauldron: +10 mp

Helmet: +8 mp

Boots: +7 mp

Pads: +10 health

Gauntlets: +7 int (useless)

For mages for PvP, the pads are the most valuable, because mp items don't work.

For warriors who want do deal out high damage, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least:

Pauldron: +10 str

Helmet: +8 str

Gauntlets: +7 str

Pads: +10 health

Boots: +7 health

For warriors who are provoking or tanking, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least:

Pads: +10 health

Boots: +7 health

Pauldron: +10 str

Helmet: +8 str

Gauntlets: +7 str

For priests, there are so many different priest builds, so here they unranked:

Pauldron: +10 health

Helmet: +8 health

Boots: +7 int

Pads: +10 str

Gauntlets: +7 int

Goblin Armor vs Upgraded Armor

As your character progresses, you'll have to make a decision on what type of armor to move up to.

Here are the different Armor types with the most desirable listed first:

Goblin Tier 5 or Upgraded Tier 5: e.g. goblin chitin or +6/10 chitin, respectively. Some folks prefer building upgraded Tier 5 for pieces that don't boost your damage-related stat
Goblin Tier 4 or Upgraded Tier 4: e.g. goblin full plate or +6/10 full plate, respectively. Some folks prefer building upgraded Tier 4 for pieces that don't boost your damage-related stat
Goblin Tier 3: e.g. goblin plate

Knight: 5 FAQs

How to get to Hell Abyss

To enter Hell Abyss in Knight you need Key of Hell. It drops from Black Widows, scorpion-like mobs on 6th and 7th floor of Abyss (Desperation Abyss). Drop rate is really high, so you don't need buy those keys from other players, in my opinion it is wasting of Knight gold. Once you got the Key of Hell, right click on Teleport Gate and choose Teleport to Hell Abyss.

2. Damage depends from stats and weapons

Damage what deals your character depends from 1 stat of it and attack power/elemental abilities of weapon. For Rogue it is Dexterity, Warrior - Strength, Priest - Strength and Mage - Magic Power. To damage counts your base amount of stat and bonus from items what you carry on. But for mage it works kinda difrent in Player vs Player mode. For damage made to other players only matter staff and base Magic Power, MP from items not working for this. That's why, when going PK, all mages should use armors/items with Hit Points bonus on it.

3. Priest and Weapons

Priest got damage penalty for difrent kinds of weapons. If you are going to make huge damage (like all Battle Priests) you should use proper type of weapon. All kind of spears are useless for priests, because there is like -50% damage "bonus" for them. Same for swords. But if your priest will make master quest (level 60 quest) penalty for swords disapear. Clubs/Maces are free from any penalties.

4. Undying

There is a skill called "Undying". It is available for Buffers (Aura - EL Morad, Ecstacy - Karus). It givin Hit Points Bonus 60% of total Hit Points. So it is usefull for chars that have more than 2500 base hit points. 60% of 2500 = 1500. And as we all know 1500HP buff is best available buff. I sugest using this for bosses and leveling(Knight powerleveling, Knight bronze). For PKing only with really good and fast curer/rebuffer.

5. Manual Updating (USKO)

You can find there even really old patches like 1265 (1st patch to USKO), but if you want upgrade Knight Empire client, you dont need this old patches, remeber - KE client is 1299. If you want update from 1299 to 1317 you must install every patch, 1 by 1. How to intstall? Just extract files to your KO directory and change in server.ini line about version to latest number.

Knight Online Guides for Warrior

Warrior is the most powerful class as Assasin inKnight Online , it is fun for you to play but not easy to building .A Warrior is someone that takes or deals damage to others , so it's very important for you to learn the knowledge of him .

Builds:

Builds will be simple to understand, but as a warrior it is recomended to have more defence. Their are ways a warrior build his stats.

The most common build would be:

Str:228
Hp:Rest To Hp

It will require a warrior to reach lvl 59 to have 228 str and 90 hp.

Wan't to know how much goes on str or hp at what level? Simple Here is a simple to use database Here.

Skill build is something to also worry about.
Most people add 5 on to passion but in my opinion it's really a waste of points, when you can ask for one.
You can add 5 on to passion but its not really recomended.

Max out your attack to max at all time, and all the defence. If you are 60+ things will change from here. Keep attack maxed and stop adding to defence and add them to masters.

Need to know how much goes on which stats? Fear No More Click Here.

Skill Bar Set-Up

Skills are important to warriors. Why you ask? How can you attack xD?
Setting up your skill bar depends on how you structure you hands on the keyboard.
You can build you skill bar anyway you like or use the popular Set Up. Most people use this.
To make it easier for you Ill show you a screen shot for you .

Combo

Comboing is the most important thing to learn as a warrior. Their are many combos to learn from r3r to swr3r. Comboing will probably the most diffucult thing to new users. Even I had trouble learning it. Learning to combo will be simple. Here is an easy way to learn how to combo.

What I am about to post will make things easier. It was posted here on UsKo media section can't remember who it was but give him Thanks whoever it was.

Youtube Warrior Combo
Note: Requires Sounds

Weapons

Many Weapons To choose from? Well, it's true their are many weapons and what is right for you?
Ill break it down to Two Points. Expensive and Cheap.

Expensive:
Two Handed
Avedon+8
HellBreak+8
Raptor+8
Giga 2h+8 (L)
Iron Impact+8
Avedon+7
HellBreaker+7
Giga 2h+7 (L)

There has been many Arguement between these weapons and Avedon is far one of the best to have.

One Handed Spear
Lugias+8
Spear Of Murky Water +8
Lugias +7
Philum+9
Totomic Spear +8

One Handed (Off Hand)
Hunguk Sword+8
Giga 1h +8
Impact 1h+8
Hunguk+7
Impact+8

Lugias and Hunguk +8 make perfect match espcially in pk and exp.

Cheap:
Two Handed
Glave+8
Raptor+7
Iron Impact+7

One Handed Spear
Harpoon+8
Totomic Spear+7

Prefer to Get Totomic Spear +7 since it is more common then Harpoon +8.

One Handed (Off Hand)
Giga+7 1h
Impact+7
Deep Scar +7
Graham+7

Armor

Warrior depends on armor. I garuntee you that will have a huge Impact on warriors. Espically higher lvl warrior.

Depend on how you built your warrior.

A 60+ warrior will rely on Shell+7 or Chitin +8. (I am not mentioning +8 shell since majority of you wont be able to afford.)

A 59- warrior can wear Chitin +7, Chitin +8 or Fp+8 or +9.

Accessories

Accessories are a must have for all classes espically warriors.
Accessories can be broken into two parts.
Unique Quest

Unique

Unique are accessories but surpasses them with multistats.
You ask which is right for you?

For Pendent: Iron Necklace/Warrior Pendant/Lupus Pendant
For Belt: Iron Belt/Skeleton/Glass Belts/Kekuri Belt (Most Unique Belts are expensive)
For Earings: Warrior Earing/Platnum Earing/Minotaur Earing/Opal Earing
For Rings: Ring Of Courage/Hero's Valor

Quest:

Use All quest accessories you get untill you can get something to replace them with.

Potting

Potting? You mean hp pots and Mana pots? Yes, that's right. As a warrior you will notice you will be draining alot of Soul pots. Trust me everyone hates it. Potting can be a real pain and you will completly forget to pot...

Take your whole mana subtract by 1920.
HuH? You ask? Simple.
x=How much mana will i need to pot
M=My Mana
P=What pot I am using

Plug them into this Formula.

M=1920+x

Example:
2400=1920+x (subtract 1920)

X=480 (Answer)

When your mana reaches 480 that is when you want to press soul pot.
Here is another Problem. Hp potting and Mana at same time what to choose?

Here is what F9Devil wrote and will make it easier for you to understand.

Learning to pot properly is more important than comboing can ever be, all though they do coincide. It's all about timing and personal judgement depending on your opponent. Just remember that 0 mana is death in a 1v1, make sure you time it correctly. Often in an open CZ fight I instantly soul pot after 1 attack, no matter what my mana is this allows me to hp pot more later on and will keep my mana at full. The main point is to soulpot at the least crucial times and allow yourself to have always have the HP pot choice at all times.

Great Ko Players to Watch

Knight: Priest FP Goblin vs FP+8 HP

GOBLIN BUILD

You need 146 INT to use DD25 helm and FP+8 gloves/boots in that build in Knight. So you save 12 HP points which also gives u extra 12AC if ur HP more than 100.

Goblin FP Pauldron
AC: 92
HP: 10
Hit Points: 50
FR, LR, IR : 16 each
Goblin FP Pad
AC: 76
STR: 10
Hit Points: 50
FR, LR, IR : 16 each
Total Bonus (counted with bonuses from items and extra stat points)
AC: 180
STR: 10
HP: 22
Hit Points: 50
Fire Resist: 32
Lightning Resist: 32
Ice Resist: 32

+8/15HP FP BUILD

You need 158 INT to use +8 Pauldron in that build. Of course can use DD25 helm and FP+8 gloves/boots. So u need put extra 12 points in INT which gives u some mana and 6 to all resists (every 2 int points over 100 gives 1 resist point)

FP+8 Pauldron
AC: 111
HP: 15
FP+8 Pad
AC: 95
HP: 15
Total Bonus (counted with bonuses from items and extra stat points)
AC: 206
STR: 0
HP: 30
Hit Points: 0
Fire Resist: 6
Lightning Resist: 6
Ice Resist: 6

Comparision

So difrence is not so big. The strong thing in gob are resists and stat bonus. +8 set is more defence. Stat bonus - yup, goblin gives more - 22HP and 10STR so 32 to stats vs 30 from +8 set.

Lets see numbers again:
FP+8 - 26 more AC, 26 less all resists, 50 less hit points, 2 less stat points
Goblin FP - 26 less AC, 26 more all resists, extra 50 hit points, 2 more stat points

or other way:
FP+8 = 26 ac, 8HP vs GOB FP = 10STR, 50 hit points, 26 FR, 26 LR, 26 IR

You can always reduce ur extra 10 str points from goblin build in other part of armor or in base stats, so basicaly goblin gives more HP for BP but support fp will have less HP since he dont need str and got str in stats only for shield.

Note: I wanna recommed you buy the cheapest Knight gold andKnight powerleveling, Knight bronze for strengthening the power of you chracters. Just have a try! ^^

Conclusion
I think choosing betwen these 2 builds is hard and depens on accesory u have and type of priest u want to be. If u got many resists and u r 174/178 str build and rest in hp, go +8. If u use mix of str and hp armors + need some resists - go goblin.

For me i found the best is lot of stat points in hp for extra def and goblin/str armors for resists and ap.

It is much better than goin 220+ str and hp armors like many ppl do, coz u not losing bonuses from extra defence gained for every HP point over 100. But main problem here it is very hind find +8 and +9 fp/chitin with STR bonus.

Knight Online Mage PvP Tips

Mage PvP in Knight Online is all about timing, anticipation, and knowing where to target.Read the following tips and learn something useful to you .

1. You have to be careful because every enemy player will go after you first, even if you are wearing complete. Mages are attractive targets because of the low defense and inability to heal themselves (as priests and rogues can). A smart mage always tries to stay inside a pack of blue dots at all times. DON'T GET TARGETED :)

2. Time your Novas well. You want to be the 3rd, 4th, or 5th mage to Nova in a given spot if you want to get kills. Of course, if you are in a party with melees, it makes sense for you to drop your lightning/glacier nova to stun/slow targets so that your melees can finish them. You'll notice that most players town when slowed, which can be frustrating for ice mages. But that's life in CZ

3. Light blade (level 42) is a very useful spell in the right situation. A common mistake is to try blading in a target in a mass melee. If you do that, you'll probably get owned by stronger melees (warriors and sins). The best time to use blade is on an isolated target, so that you or your party can quickly finish the player off

4. If you're not on Ventrilo/TeamSpeak, it's useful to have an understanding with your partied rogues that you will tp them if you need a Swift.

5. If the rogues in your party are not consistently Swifting you quickly or casting Lupine Eyes, find other rogues

6. While /town can be faster to "cast" than Gate, Gate has the advantage of being castable regardless of your current hp. So get used to using both

Minimum recommended equipment:

1. Paper build: +8/64 wizard staff. +7/12 hp tier 1 pauldron, helm, boots, and gauntlets, but get +8/15 hp if you can. Goblin tier 1 pads for the 16/16/16 resistances

2. 160 int build: +7/56 salamander (ap 103) or elixir staff (ap 111). +6/10 crimson hp pauldron, helm, boots, and gauntlets. Get +7/12 if you can. You can also wear complete helm, boots, and gauntlets, but you don't bother unless they are +6/10. Goblin crimson pads for the 16/16/16 resistances

3. All +hp accessories, or uniques that boost hp
